5. The Grumpy Baker

The Grumpy Baker
In the beginning, The Grumpy Baker baked in a small kitchen at the rear of their store. Loyal customers were drawn to Oxford Street by the smell of fresh bread, and they were treated to rustic, gourmet bread free of preservatives. Demand increased after three years, leading to a move into the wholesale sector, where they now serve upscale hotels and restaurants. They moved to a Leichhardt commercial factory and was accredited with HACCP. The Grumpy Baker strategically decided in 2021 to stop doing wholesale business and concentrate on growing their own retail outlets, guaranteeing a sustained commitment to offering high-quality bread and enhancing their local presence.

Review on Google: “Very long, slow-moving queue for a good pie. Very gourmet pie menu. Personally, I prefer the more traditional varieties like pepper steak. Frustrated by the unnecessary waste of using single use foil trays. All the bins were overflowing.” – The Maladjusted Vagabond
